Repair for Botched SMP Case Study

Here we have a client in his late 30’s who has undergone multiple different procedures for hair restoration, none of which have proven successful. He initially opted for a hair transplant, which produced modest results in the front of his head but very little density in his crown. After this, he attempted to have the transplant scar and the remaining baldness concealed with SMP by a different provider. Unfortunately, the results were very blotchy and discolored due the other practitioner’s lack of proper equipment and experience.

This client was in a difficult situation, since he had trusted multiple other providers to deliver a satisfying solution for his hair loss but the results had been consistently poor. We have extensive experience with successfully repairing botched hair transplants as well as botched SMP treatments. Our approach in this client’s case was twofold; we had to neutralize the bad ink dots with a specialized solution that reduces their darkness and discoloration, and then we had to blend through his scalp with a fresh layer of SMP in order to restore his hair density and conceal his scarring.

After four treatments, the client had finally reached a satisfying end to his journey of hair restoration. At the end of his last session he remarked that he wished he had chosen ZangSMP as his first and only solution for bringing his hair back.
